I use a foundation brush to blend it in and have’t used it with a beauty Blender sponge, but feel it would give a very nice finish just as with any brush. It has a very creamy consistency and just thick enough for the right coverage. I really like the finish with this foundation and how it blends with my skin tone. I only set my under eyes with Laura Mercier’s setting powder and finish off my makeup with MAC’s fix plus. I don’t need to powder my face with this foundation. ![]() With Clinique’s Beyond Perfecting foundation I noticed that is not a problem since this foundation works well to curb excess oil, balancing out my skin perfectly. I normally don’t use any primer underneath, but when I do, I use Juice Beauty’s primer which leaves my skin dewy or oily depending on the foundation. It claims to have a 12 hour coverage stay which in my case seems pretty accurate as I wear it for work on 8-10 hour days and it does not budge by end of day. This is a multi purpose foundation that provides moisture for dry skin while at the same time absorbing any excess oil my skin may produce, making it ideal for any skin type, especially combination skin types. ![]() This foundation provides a really nice matte coverage for those oily instances and has a wand application tip which made it even more useful and easier to apply, especially around my nose area. I really liked how it covered some of the redness/irritation around my nose area and balanced out my skin tone providing full coverage without being heavy or drying as some foundations (especially full coverage) tend to be.Īlthough my skin is a little dry, I can get a little oily especially around my T zone. ![]() I started using a sample of Clinique’s Beyond Perfecting foundation and was so impressed with it that I went to my local department store and purchased the full bottle ($27.00).
